White Pocket, AZ

Many of you have written in, asking when I am going to post some of the photos taken from the Arizona trip over last weekend.  Wait no longer, for here are some from the trip!  Several of these are potential “portfolio” shots…still debating which ones to include and which ones to leave off.  I’ve posted them to Flickr and to NAPP with some pretty positive feedback thus far, but here’s your chance to sound off on which ones to include in the newest updates.  Let me know what you think:

I like #5 thru #9, nice leading lines to pull the viewer in to the back of the image someplace.

#5 has several further options. Something isolating that green tree in the field of reds and yellows would have been really nice too. What you captured is good, I just see many more possibilities with that composition and contrast.

    Nice work!

Ok, #’s 5, 7, & 9 I’m really super digging. I got a slightly different take in a portrait shot of #9. I like the lighting in yours, and the expansion on the detail to the right in that image. I’d actually cut in slightly for what I was doing with that one.

I believe # 7 involved some fence jumping if I’m not mistaken. Love the results!

Good stuff one and all Jason. Did you happen to get any ice photos??? 🙂

    Hi Jason,
For me, #7 jumped off the page and just rocks. Definitely my favorite as I love the pic through the rocks with the others almost touching. Great eye.

I might crop #5 a bit closer on the tree and you’d have something there too.

    Nice shots.

I like them all but I’ll go away from everyone else and say #3 is the one that my eye kept coming back to as I looked through them.
