Winding the Clock Back…

Today isn’t Friday…at least in my head.  Today is really Thursday night!  I am winding the clock back a day just because it’s been a super busy week.  In addition to the regular job, still adjusting to the time change, and prepping the house with the honey-do list, I’ve been prepping for a very exciting shoot I booked a short time ago.  It’s gonna take about two weeks of preparations, and with a shoot date of Dec. 3rd, the clock is ticking…

So, to give myself another 24 to catch up, ya know what today is?  Yup, no blog Friday!  Have a good weekend all, and we’ll see you back here bright and early on Monday for another week of photo goodness!

Delayed

Just as I start to insert myself back into reality, civilization and all that “real” stuff, the very real weather of the East Coast yesterday decided to extend my trip by another 24 hours against my will.  Yes, the flight was delayed sufficiently from my starting city that I would have completely missed my connection flight back home.  So, I must spend another 24 hours here with the family in upstate New York – oh the tragedy!  🙂

It does mean that my blog post schedule needs to adjust slightly, so consider today a pseudo “no blog” post day.  I may have time to get the article finished that I had intended on putting together before too long, but in the event the traveling bug has other plans for me, decided to make a judgment call.  Have a great weekend and we’ll see you back here on Monday with a lot of news and photo goodness to catch up on!  Happy shooting!

No Blog Thursday…

My cold is still nagging me and after taking care of some administrative stuff for the blog and our upcoming house closings, I simply did not have the energy to complete my last project of the day (I’ve got to get back to writing in advance to make scheduling easier…).

So, today is officially a “no blog” Thursday.  See you back here again tomorrow…

Okay, so it’s lame segue alert day, as our late return last night really didn’t give me time to get my act together for a post today (clearly as it’s already 6:30pm MDT).  Thus, another NBP (no blog post) day is upon us.  Hopefully by tomorrow my act will be together again and we’ll have a new podcast, with loads of photography goodness to share.  Happy shooting and I’ll be back on top of things tomorrow…

Nyquil, Robitussen, Theraflu, Zicam, Sudafed – all for nada, zip, zilch, and a big fat doughnut.

Sorry all, the fog is just too deep to come up with anything coherent.   Don’t drop me from the feed reader just yet, as I think the haze is starting to clear some.  Be sure to stop back friday for a hopefully more coherent post about something related to photography – perhaps even a podcast (if you like the sound of hacking lung, runny nose, and pregnant pauses as I try to remember what it was I wanted to say…).  In other words, today is officially a “no blog” day.

In all seriousness, I should be back to form tomorrow – just ran out of hours in the day today, and this cold is kinda kicking me out of the game early at night time due to well…the meds.  Batter up on Friday!  Happy shooting!

Yep, the ole Spring Forward/Fall back bug bit us this past weekend.  On top of that, a rather late night on Saturday has re-doubled its effect on me today.  Since I am an admitted night owl, the mornings did not afford me the time to put together the blog post for Monday.

So…sports fans, today is officially a bleary-eyed no blog day!  Tune in tomorrow for the (semi) weekly podcast, some photo goodness, and a tweak in the podcast format for even better delivery to the fabulous listeners.  In the meantime… zzzzzzzzzz

Long Weekends Rule!

A long weekend is always a good thing.  When you combine that with the ability to literally “get away from it all”, they are even better.  I had the great fortune of being able to secure an idyllic getaway cabin in the mountains of Colorado over this last weekend.  We were quite literally cut off from the world with no cell phones, no internet – nada!

It was quite refreshing to be honest, and is due, in no small part to the lack of a post at all yesterday.  (I did get back in time to cobble one together, but rather chose to bask in the last few hours of what was truly a wonderful holiday weekend, Hallmark though it was!)

Of course, I did take the camera with me, and will have many to share over the course of the next few weeks as I post process things, and filter out the keepers.  So, for today let’s just leave things where they are.  Rest assured though, I am “back in the saddle”, and will hopefully have the weekly podcast up for your listening pleasure tomorrow!
